Week 4: Time Management & Productivity

As we begin talking about our finances, let’s talk about money mind, financial anxiety and fears.

Have you ever felt anxious, overwhelmed and even fearful regarding your finances?

For most of us the answer is yes. Today, I want to bring you words of encouragement on renewing the mind when it comes to money.

If you have had a difficult few years I too can relate. Over the last year, I have had two hand surgeries, expensive car work, and moved. Wow what an expensive year!

Thankfully, each time something came up, I rested in the peace knowing that God knows my needs. He has been trustworthy every time to provide. I turned my worries into prayers and His truths. “Cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us.” 1 Peter 5:7.

GOD WHO COMFORTS DURING FINANCIAL LOSS AND DIFFICULT TIMES

If you have recently lost your job, reduction income, had to sell a home or even have lost a loved one, know that I am lifting you up in prayer. I too have experienced financial hardship and loss. I went from 6-figure income to flat broke after the company I was with shut down. Now I am sharing my story how I overcame that season and now helping others gain financial security and a sense of peace. READ MY STORY HERE!

If you have gone through hardships, loss and financial difficulties, I encourage you to seek support and counseling. Grief can bring on stages of anger, depression and wanting to numb. Working with a counselor can help you process your emotions. Plus, most will share with you healthy ways to manage the grief. If you would like prayer: please send me a message.

While I was going through hard times, I clung to this bible verse.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

HOW DO YOU TURN FINANCIAL WORRIES INTO A PLACE OF TRUST AND FAITH?

As the Lord says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your
hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7.

Will God provide? Is he trustworthy? Can God really help me?

LEARNING TO TRUST GOD IS A GROWING PLACE FOR US ALL. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

MEDITATE ON THESE BIBLE VERSES: 1 Peter 5:7, Psalms 55:22 Hebrews, 11:1, Psalms 62:8, Romans, 8:28, Proverbs 3:5-7 Philippians 4:4-9,  2 Corinthians 1:3-4
